Ascadian Isles
Located in southern Vvardenfell, this region is comprised of lush, green, well-watered lowlands in the south where most of Vvardenfell's agriculture is found. This area is mostly under the control of House Hlaalu and Empire. The islands are scattered, however they are close enough for easy transportation.

Ashlands
The largest geographical region on the island, most of the Ashlands is dry, inhospitable wasteland. Blustering ash storms blow across this sparsely-vegetated landscape, spreading the Blight to animals and people. Only the western part is under Redoran control, with its Council seat at Ald'ruhn. Separating it from Red Mountain and the minions of Dagoth Ur is the Ghostfence.

Azura's Coast
Named for the shrine to Azura found in its southeast corner, Azura's Coast is composed mostly of various islands, scattered along the island's eastern and southern coast. Fairly desolate, most of its territory is under Telvanni control. The dominance of Telvanni in this area makes it one of the least subject to the Empire or the Tribunal.

Bitter Coast
A largely uninhabited southwestern area of Vvardenfell, the Bitter Coast is a humid region dominated by salt marshes and swampland. It lies between the mounts of the West Gash and the Inner Sea. The region known as the Smuggler's Coast is littered with smugglers, who operate from their hidden caves.

Grazelands
The pastoral heartland of Vvardenfell, the Grazelands are mostly uninhabited, the uninhabited land belonging to the Temple. Aside from Tel Vos and its accompanying village, most of the population comprises of Ashlanders.

Molag Amur
Located inland in the southeast of Vvardenfell, Molag Amur is an uninhabited wasteland of rocky hills, steep-sided ravines, lava pools, and barren ash pavements. Pathfinding and travel is extremely difficult in this trackless wilderness, and is complicated by frequent ash storms, its worst parts being non-traversable even by Ashlanders.

Red Mountain
Red Mountain is the vast volcano dominating the island of Vvardenfell. The region is considered to be the most dangerous on the continent; however, the Empire runs glass and ebony mines here. The Ghostfence keeps Dagoth Ur's minions and blighted creatures from penetating the border. Within this region, there are four ancient Dwemer citadels, all under control of Dagoth and his most trusted Ash Vampires.

Sheogorad
Sheogorad island and its associated lesser islands are a maritime wilderness extending north from Vvardenfell into the Sea of Ghosts. The region is largely hostile and uninhabited, with two small villages at Ald Redaynia and Dagon Fel. It is politically unaligned, but ancient Velothi buildings, Dwemer ruins, bandit strongholds, and Daedric shrines dot the landscape.

West Gash
Stretching from the south of Balmora to the shores of the Sea of Ghosts is the region of the West Gash. The region consists mostly of rocky scrubland marked by unique, natural rock bridges and sparse forest in its north. The Caldera Mining Company has been granted an Imeprial monopoly to mine raw ebony. House Redoran, who holds most control in this region, views this as an affront.

Solstheim
